I was born and raised in Piteå. When I look back on my childhood, two things stand out; firstly that it was marked by a lot of love but also that sport was always present. I tested out on a lot of different sports but it was the hockey I got stuck for. Even at the first few moments, I knew it would be a big part of the rest of my life.
Ice hockey gave me new friends, memories for life and the chance to visit interesting places around the world. From Matojärvi Ihall in Kiruna to Saddledoom Arena in Canada. It was also the one that made me move to Örnsköldsvik as a teenager. After three instructive years at hockey high school, my boyhood dream came true when I made my debut in the SHL with Modo. Everything had now become something more than just play, more serious, and I felt incredibly lucky to be working on my hobby.
After a short stop in Västerås, I took aim at the next club address which was Leksands IF. It turns out that I enjoyed the Dalarna. I don't really know what I got caught up in but it felt a bit like being at home in Norrland, or maybe it was because large parts of the village loved hockey just like me.

Playing in Leksands IF became a rollercoaster to say the least. With high highs and deep lows, I got to be part of the journey up Sweden's highest hockey league (SHL) three times. On the second day of Christmas 2018, the accident arrived, the one that was going to change everything. A collision straight into the sarge, a broken neck and a new life.
With incredible support and a drive to always take myself forward have done several things that I didn't think were possible when I was in the hospital. From swimming in the Caribbean Sea to standing on stage in front of millions of people. I've worked as an expert commentator at Cmore, been a columnist on Hockey Sweden and not least married my great love.
New knowledge has no value unless you use it. That's why I'm so excited to come out, meet you, and tell you more about my journey and the insights I've gathered along the way.
